A few Words for this New Year

Yes, Happy New Year! It’s the start of the year, and you want to start out fresh? Pressures on!

Like every year, you create a never-ending list of resolutions and fail half of them within the first month! You also look back and think of all the goals you did not achieve, the way you dealt with your life and reacted to certain aspects or challenges of your rocky journey, AKA regrets, regrets and regrets. Basically, you regret all, and you fear this new year.

Have you ever thought though, all is not that bad? I won’t make this long, as I don’t want to keep you from enjoying time OFF the computer, or pursuing your dreams… Anyway, truth be told; happiness is not about perfection. Happiness is not about having done all your brain thought you could do. Happiness is not what you’ve acquired, or what you achieved. Happiness comes from within. It might be hard to explain it through text or  to suddenly change your perspective of life, in a wink. Nonetheless, here are some words you might want to keep in mind, that will definitely lead you the right way. Do not underestimate the power of these words. It is all up to you to find your own definition associated to them, and understand them as you wish.

Yet, as I look back myself to the year I’ve had (I know I have an optimistic mind), here are some words that have kept me smiling and happy all year long. Full of positivity, these could be the answers to the troubled journeys that lay ahead.

  • Genuineness
  • Integrity & honesty
  • Trust & belief
  • Gratitude & gratefulness
  • Reminiscing
  • Value
